Each year Canada gets more than 20 million visitors, and around %25 of this number belongs to business visitors. Canada offers entrepreneurs and business people an opportunity to visit Canada temporarily to conduct exploratory business trips and attend international business seminars or conferences.
Same as a visitor visa, the business visitor visa allows individuals to visit and stay in Canada for up to six months on each visit. However, to prove you are a business visitor and qualified for this visa, you must prove that you will be visiting Canada for a short trip, usually less than six months.

Who is Qualified for a Business Visitor Visa?
To be qualified as a business visitor, you must:
- Plan to stay in Canada for less than six months;
- Have an active business outside Canada, which is the primary source of your income;
- Have sufficient funds to cover the expenses of your business trip;
- Have a reasonable purpose visit; and
- Be medically and criminally admissible to enter Canada.
What is a reasonable purpose of visit?
A reasonable purpose of visit for a business visitor visa is to:
- Attend business meetings and negotiate contracts;
- Purchase goods and services for your business outside Canada;
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, seminars or conferences;
- Pass training at a Canadian parent company or a Canadian company that has sold your business equipment or services; or
