Pro Bono Services
We are proud to announce that as of 2022, our firm has decided to implement a permanent pro bono program in which we will represent a limited number of applicants in their Canadian immigration applications.
Our office started accepting pro bono applications from Afghans in August 2021 as the situation in Afghanistan changed tragically. We are thrilled that we have reunited many Canadians with their family members from Afghanistan. We will continue our efforts to help as many people as possible.
In March 2022, we started providing pro bono legal assistance to the people affected by the situation in Ukraine who want to come to Canada; and we have collaborated with several institutions to make this happen, such as the Ukrainian Legal Aid.
We are incredibly grateful for our supportive team of staff and volunteers who have allowed us to do our part in times of crisis, and we will continue to count on their help in our future pro bono cases. However, based on our limited funding, as we are a private immigration firm, it is not possible to help all, but we will assist a limited number of applicants per year.
As part of our permanent pro bono program, we will provide free legal advice and representation on Canadian immigration services to those most in need and who have a low income. The primary immigration services that we will be providing as pro bono include:
**Applicants must pay IRCC’s application processing fees.
We do not offer pro bono representation for sponsorship applications, temporary resident visas, economic or business immigration programs.
We will review each request in detail and have a case-by-case assessment to determine your eligibility for our pro bono services. Please note that we may ask for your proof of income to make sure you qualify for our pro bono services.
Please email us a brief summary of your case at firstname.lastname@example.org (subject line: Pro Bono Inquiry) to check if you qualify for our pro bono services.
If you wish to volunteer on our pro bono cases, please forward your resume to email@example.com (subject line: Pro Bono Volunteer).
